I have a limited batch of Series MM engine / gearbox drain plugs cast in brass for sale at £12.25 each + 95p p&p (UK). With a small vent hole they will also fit the gearbox filler.

Mine arrived a couple of days ago, really well made, just need to get the engine bay painted, engine in and then.....
