Front wheel bearings
I have e mailed our technical advisor re the Minor wheel bearings as he has advised, in the latest Minor Matters that the hub nut should be tightened up enough to remove free play and then split pinned. I regard this as bad practice and possibly dangerous. The correct pressure on the hub nut is 40 ft lbs and it is designed so that the inners of each ball race and the spacer are securely locked together to prevent any possibility of them revolving on the stub axle.

This is advice in our mag specifically for Morris Minors and I hate to think of many owners thinking that the hub nut pressure is adjustable.
It is up to the owners of modified cars to ascertain the correct procedures for their particular mods.

Mark, I have no idea! I can only find 'and tighten the hub nut' referring to
the series 2 and have never owned that model.
