Series II Ignition Warning Lamp

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me how to remove the Ignition warning lamp body from the Dash? I've found out about the resistance wire wrapped around the bottom of the body :oops: - oh well, at least I only have to wind it back on :roll: .

Why?: I'm slowly prep-ing for paint. Just got to sand all that horrible Jamaican Lime off :evil: .

There is a horseshoe shaped clip on the underside that has to be removed to enable you to removed the washer and spring. I can take a picture of one out of the car if that helps, but you will have to e-mail me and i will send a photo that way! :D

Thanks for that. I won't bother you with the photo, I think that knowing there's a cir clip hiding under the washer should be enough.
