It depends on the PCD of the vehicle they came from and the offset.
If they are from a Sprite/Midget they should be ok.
6" wide, you are looking at tyres 165 to 185 wide, although you can go much wider on the back... I would suggest a 70 profile too, so 185/70/13 would probably be a good bet imo
Well I went from 145R14 to 185/60/R14 on minilites and the steering is lighter!
Well that must be down to the lighter rims I suppose although you have kept the same diameter, on my car I have the 5J steel rims with 165's and its defintely a tad heavier than my old saloon on 145's

PCD is right, but you *might* need spacers, and you definately need different wheel nuts (mini alloy wheel sort) if you went for them its probably a good idea to go for the spacers and nuts too!
Using anything more than about 1/2" spacers is not wise. Mini wheels will fit as far as PCD is concerned - but the offset may be too much inwards and the tyres will probably foul the suspension at the front.
