Thanks Alex what I'm assuming happened is that at some point the A post was restored but whoever did the job removed the lower part of that "lip" which prevents captive threads going towards the inner panel of course thats an assumption as I found a repair very near to that place on the A post on both sides, but I'll confirm more whan I'll reopen the cover panel
