Rattles from front - the answer?

I've seen questions about this problem recently from several people. I have discovered today that this has been adressed already.................... in the BMC workshop manual of all places! :o
It is covered in section K.10. Perhaps someone who has the manual and the PC hardware can scan this for the benefit of those afflicted?

It's pretty much ALL in the manual if you look hard enough.
