I'm afraid its the norm,and a bit naughty if you ask me. I suppose it is mentioned somewhere on your ticket though. We normally go by train, as you get better deals.

i went yesterday it is normal a tad expensive the stands were very good.it was nice to see a good number of vans there.and there was the moggie that took 3 years to go around the world very intresting keep up the good work.
Yup, £7 or £8 is the norm for parking at the NEC. Sometimes it's more, but bigger shows, like the Caravan Show usually manage to wangle free parking. The entrance fee is sometimes a little more, however, and the sheer volume of people can absorb it.
