Is there supposed to be a rubber bung in the master cylinder access hole in the driver's side footwell?
ESM sell one that is the same as the one that goes in the gearbox filler access in the other footwell, but it doesn't fit properly because the master cylinder cap comes up too high.
If there's supposed to be a bung, anyone know where I can get one that fits?
Thanks.

I think we've had this discussion fairly recently - the bung only fits on some cars.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

I think if you could get a bung to fit, there would be a tendancy to forget about checking the brake fluid level. I've checked the original BMC Manual parts list and no bung was ever fitted to the MS cover plate on anything other than LCV vehicles. Perhaps LCV's have deeper chassis legs? which means a bung will fit.
