WHAT IS GOING ON? another award

Post by Jay-Minor »

today i went to the wessex classic car show, i took with me "Percy" the police car rather than "Mildred"
the idea being was to put a for sale sign in it to see what sort of response i would get (and i did get a few)

anyway, i had a look around ((as you do) and on my return find a rosette cliped to the car saying it was a price winner and to attend the awards giving at 3.30pm.

it turned out that i was awarded runner-up much to my surprise, especially after "Mildred" got an award at the IOW rally a couple of weeks ago, that is now 2 awards in as many weeks.

anyway i took some more pics see

Well done - and lucky to have got decent weather today - it's been pouring down up here (was going to Selkirk show - but far too wet) - as any of you watching the sad Colin McRae saga will have noticed!

Hi Richard,
I drive the saloon every day and am running 165/70x14's as that is what was on when i bought it! The soft top is off to a new home shortly so it is safely tucked up in the garage awaiting its new owner! :D
