Damper reconditioning

Post by adritch »

One of my rear dampers seems to be leaking a little more than I'm happy with.

Is it possible to get refurb kits for dampers, or is it a case of just replacing them with a recon unit.

Thanks,
Adam.

The parts suppliers will take your old one and sell you a recon. I don't think its an easy DIY.

Recon units are also very cheap on an exchange basis. from around £15 + vat if I remember correctly!
