I generally agree - But I happen to have an electronic Metro dizzy and most of another one. I'm tempted to be rid of points and condensor setups, especially now the price at the local factors has reached nearly £10 each time I want to replace the two! Plus, as I see it remove that pressure on the upper shaft from having the points pushing on it most of the time must be better in the very long run.
I also have a couple of spare ignition modules so no worries about being stranded in case of failure
