another moggie on the road.
second time pass
failed on rear brake not working at all on pedal. i'd put a new cylinder in and hadn't bled it properly.
and on the way to the mot my front light sealed beam blew so had to get a new light.
took it back an hour later and all well with the MOT man
at least i can take it to the national now

it was the one i bought threw ebay
it has chnaged hands a few times in the past couple of months as it didn't have a floor when i got it.
had to do floors sills complete, cross member complete brakes loadsssssss of welding inner wings etc etc etc.
just waiting for a bit of warm sunshine so i can spray the doors

I'm just amazed you can restore the cars so quickly it takes me 6 months to a year at least!

ahhhh yes but i do it full time 6 to 7 days a week

Nice one Steve4063, good to see another back on the road! It took me 2 years to restore my Yamaha FS1-E.
Im hoping to have all the welding etc finished by the end of August on my mog. Which should leave me some half decent september weather to spray her, (fingers crossed we dont have more of this rain when the time comes!!).
Ultimate rust cure for your moggy....paint it brown, at least that way you dont notice the rust as much!!

yeah congratulations with that pass! mine had been off the road since 1980but it passed last friday, took a couple of months to get it road worthy, but now its just getting it looking like a car!
