pos to neg earth
can anyone help please, being a new member having just aquired a 1969 pick-up, i would like to change the earth polarity from positive to negetave earth so i can fit a radio etc. last week i fitted +earth electronic ignition and a new coil, would this have to be changed again. ?

I think there's an article somewhere in the technical tips area about how to do the conversion.
The coil will be fine but I think you will probably need to either change to a negative earth electronic ignition module or go back to points.

You would have to swop the + and - leads on the coil for maximum efficiency though it will still work if you don't but All electronic
ignition modules are polarity conscious. If you are lucky it will have a changeover switch.
