Can anyone Give me a list of parts needed to convert a minor to Midget disc brakes. I know that they are not up to the ford conversions effectiveness but do seem a hell of a lot cheaper/easier to source, second hand. Many Thanks

John the whole kits are sold by the the centre in Birmingham maybe they would give you a parts list or should be able to give advice, do you know if they are as good/better than the Marina ones, has anyone else fitted them on this board. Like yourself I had also heard they were not as good as the Sierra ones but have not come across someone who has used them and I have not heard of a direct comparison with the Marina versions, let us know how you get on.

But the Midget had disc brakes fitted to the last of the Mk1`s and the Mk2 came out in 64, years before the Marina even hit the roads in 1971. And surely the Marina calipers etc would be more substantial as there is a lot more car to stop than in a Midget

unfortunately they are nothing like the Marina ones , which have different bearings , calipers and are larger/ thicker.
They are tiny ones about the size of 997 cc Mini Cooper. The upright will fit directly onto the Minor suspension , I believe but it's very doubtfull if they will be as efficient as a good set of 8" drums.
