Flogged a set of 8.4" Mini discs/ uprights etc for a fiver - A pair in the same condition just made 80 odd over the weekend. I wasn't helped by Feebay seeming to block images hosted on my webspace, and me not checking the listing after it had gone live.

Still smug about my 1098 Midget engin, 1275 box, and other bits for 40 quid, but that was an extreme case of luck (seller understating the items, time limit on collection, living in the middle of nowhere etc). If I really ran low on cash I could probably throw a glitzy listing together for just the head and double my money.

I think the bargains might be easier found at the breakers and small specialist places now, unless you're incredibly patient and have way too much free time and can hammer the bay umpteen hours a day...
