More Water Leaks

A freind has been suffering from a water leak at the front drivers side, the winscreen was checked and then the grommet under the wiper spindle all to no avail, and then it was found that the nearside bonnet hinge was not tight and the water was getting past the hinge rubber when the bolts were tightened the problem was solved :lol: , its not one I have come across before but is worthwhile checking if you have a damp front carpet or bulkhead padding.

also worth to check the windscreen washer pipes - these tend to spray the glove box liners. If your glove box liners look water damaged it's worth to check.
If you press them a few dozen times you may see some drips come from under the dash...

I have electric washers and when i had a problem with them(fortunately the carpet wasnt in at the time), the hose came of the N/S sprayer and flooded ;) the footwell
