Heater cable

Post by hornmeister2000 »

Hi, I'm looking for some help with the heater cable on my 1970 saloon. I just got it back after 2 years being restored, drove it for the first time, and the heater cable came off in my hand.

My question is: is it an easy job to reattach it, and if so, how do I do it?

Thanks in advance,

Neil

sounds like it has either snapped or come loose inside the engine compartment. it should be fairly easy to fix. The heater valve is at the back of the cylinder head, on the drivers side of the car. if you post a photo of this area then people can advise what to do.
