Hi, my firstpost.
Not sure if this is Bodywork or Mechanical, but I guess you only do this to do bodywork.
I am preparing my 58 2 door Morris 1000 for a complete respray, I have removed the bonnet hinges and washer jets but I am struggling with the wiper spindles.
I have removed the arms and disconected the cable under the dash but cannot see how to get the rest out of the panel. I want to remove everything out so that there is just a hole in front of the windscreen. I think I am missing something simple.
Thanks in advance
Steve

Undo the big nut on the end of the spindle, lift the chrome finisher off, then pull the rest out from underneath.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Yes, brute force is the ticket! ;)
Perhaps a previous owner has stuck it down with silicone sealant or similar to stop it leaking?
