Van chassis - should it be bent ?

Van chassis - should it be bent ?

I've just been looking at the scrap van chassis I'd dumped down the bottom of the garden.
The top face is level up to the "towers" and it then bends upwards toward the front.
Is this normal or has it started to collapse - as I asssume
I would have thought the top face should have been flat / level all the way from the hoop to front but this is banana shaped :D
I was going to keep the front aspect of the chassis to use as a jig for repairing a cab idc but no point if it's distorted.

Tops do bend up as you look from the front. See Les's picture on page 2 of

PM got though OK.

I've had another look and one side is banana shaped - probably due to excessive rot.
Other is in better condition and I can see the front part is lower than the main rail but still parallel to it.
The upper rail "slopes" at the towers between the two levels.
