fitting a marina pedal box?
Has anbody got any usefull info about fitting a marina pedal box, plase?
I fitted the Owen Burton kit. It basically looks like a large biscuit tin cut through diagonally. You needed to cut a hole in the minor firewall to suit the 'tin', cut a hole in the 'tin' to suit the pedal assembly then weld the tin to the firewall. You need to use the tin or something similar to bring the servo back to the vertical as per it's original fitting. In the Marina the firewall is vertical (I guess, it was a long time ago I got it).
If I was doing again today I'd knock up the box myself and probably use a more commonly available pedal assembly. Also I think the Marina servos are getting difficult/expensive to get hold of new or reconditioned now.
Oh, The Marina master cylinder is dual circuit as opposed to the Minor's single circuit so you'd have to plumb accordingly.
