Has anyone fiited NC seat covers? If so can I phone you for a chat before I make any mistakes.

The seat base foam is thinner than the foam I removed.

The horse hair rubber mat for the squab is over size do I trim it or wrap it round the frame? If so does it need sewing on?

Do I need to back the foam with hesian to prevent the webbing straps cutting into it?

Should I do the back then the base or the other way round?

any help would be welcome :o

Hi RR,

I've done series 2 seats before.

the foam although thinner should be denser?
don't cut the squab, it shouldn't need sewing on

it shouldn't cut into the foam until a few years time at least!

from memory do base first then the back. I think the last thing to attach is either side of the back. if that makes sense.

it's easier to do than explain!

James
