Alloy wheels (not Minor)

Post by Stig »

I've got a set of alloy wheels with a 5 inch PCD and a 4 inch offset (as far as I can measure). Anyone know what car they'll fit? I was told they were for a VW beetle but have no idea. They're 5Jx13.
They'll need cleaning up & repainting before trying to fit tyres but I just thought someone might be able to use them rather than taking them down the tip. 99p on Ebay maybe?

Only 4, so maybe not for a beetle then.

I've just been out and measured the PCD on the 71 beetle sitting on my drive and it's 4 stud with a 5" PCD

I've a feeling that the T2 camper is 5 stud, although I can't be sure. I'd have thought it was the same as the Beetle it was based on, but then...
Happy Minoring!

According to Google, the early Beetles have five studs on a 205mm (about 8") PCD and the later ones have four studs on a 130mm (about 5 1/8") PCD. The standard wheels are 15" diameter.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
