Front wing fit

Post by RogerRust »

My drivers side front wing has a very big gap between the wing and the edge of the door. Probably 12mm is it just a matter of push and shove to get it closer?

What is the ideal gap to aim for 5mm? or a little more or less?

I haven't tightenened it up yet so its fairly easy to take off if it needs more firm adjustment.

Depends how it fits against the front panel and the bonnet. May be wing needing to go back (highly likely) or perhaps door needing to come forward - or very possibly a combination of the two!

i had an original never rstored van and the rear of the wing was up to the door side cab gutter which left about a 3 to 4 mm gap
