I have a horn wired with a push button down the side of the steering wheel, due to the push horn in the center of wheel being knackered. though i am not sure if the horn should work when the car is not running or the ignition turned on?
mine will beep anytime, keys in/out. how do i rewire it not to be like that so it doesnt drain the battery or will it cause a drain on the battery?
Ben

It should be able to operate with the ignition off. So you can use it as a warning whether the car is running or not. It should not drain the battery.
However if you wish to change it so it comes on with the ignition, simply pull off the purple wire on the fuse box (Ibelieve its the bigger of the two) and put it on the ignition switched side.
