well I give up.... have sent a message to cam as a last resort because thingy's pic wont show here... if anyone is interested thingy's pic is at

she’s not pretty yet, a sub £200 ebay minor, "time warp special"... original in every way to when she was built in 1963... she was in Oxford so doubt she moved very far from where she was built either (10,000 on her clock guessing at least second time around) until I took her to enemy territory (about 2 miles from longbridge lol) she has an MOT till feb 2007, no seat belts and breaks that make the titanic look good <laffin>. but she’s brilliant... we came to an understanding on the trip from Oxford to Brum... yep she’s female so will be a pain in the bum but also honest... really all you can ask from a car.... well a car with attitude <laffin>

I think you need to put [img]before%20your%20link%20and[/img] after it with no gaps. it should work then.

Works fine for me. Just type:
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/143/3564 ... b020_m.jpg

then select it with the mouse (text goes dark blue), then click on the Img button above. This automatically adds

after it. Once you've made it work in a post, do the same on your signature in the profile so it appears on every post.

Many thanks to onne and chris, the hair on the back of my neck went funny when I realised they had posted thingy here... and a huge thanks to roger... where did it say type [img] in the instructions ? <laffin>
All sorted now though again many thanks to all who helped.
