bumper upgrade

Post by Pascal »

Hello,

I've seen quite a few pictures of 66+ moggies with vertical bits on their bumpers (not sure how you call that), which I find look better than the bare bumpers of older cars (probably offer better protection too).

Is it possible to just swap the chrome bumper blade of a 62 moggy with the later version, or is the support different between the cars?

Regards,
Pascal

Do you mean this?

They are bumper overriders and available from all the major parts suppliers. They just bolt on to your existing bumper.

Part of the DeLuxe trim, as fitted to cars since 1951 I think, when the Lowlight went out of production
