brake cylinder
hi moggymen, I have to change my rear brake cylinder as it appears to be stuck, I take it I have to bleed the braking system once i have finished.
therefore can anyone tell me if those brake bleeding contraptions are helpful or should i just get another pair of hands to help me, or importantly is there an easier way of doing it.
cheers Mungo '56 splitty

It's not too hard to modify an existing master cylinder filler cap to fit the Eezibleed, but it took me a while to track down a replacement cap.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.
I just stick a bit of plastic pipe on the nipple - run it down into a jar with a little fluid in - open the nipple, top up the master cylinder - and sit back with a mug of coffee. Sometimes it needs a first pump to get it going - then gravity takes over. Just keep the master cylinder topped up - and don't drift off to sleep!
