Has anyone ever used dum dum as a sealer between wings (front or rear) and the rest of the body?
What was the original type sealer for these areas?

The rear wings don't have sealant at all - just the piping.
The fronts originally used piping too then changed to a hard setting sealant. I don't think it was dum dum as that stays soft (doesn't it ?).

The new car my brother has (well older) doesnt have wing piping at all at the back just sealant, but its hard setting. Does a good job but doesnt look the best without the piping.ince the rear piping is not a definite sealer, I might be tempted to add some dumdum to it, I think it would seal better, has anyone tried this?
