Onne and Andrew are getting confused!

The Series MM (& early Series II) have two oblong gauges and one circular one (as Onne says), BUT only when the front dash cover is on! If you take that off then you can see two circular ones and one oblong one (as Andrew says!).

crickey! is that a morris minor or the space shuttle!

does the lid still hinge for access to the back of the dials?
*Laughs*.. nope, no it doesn't. They need to come out to be cleaned up a bit though, they came out of a scimtar which had smashed sunroof / open windows in the scrappy, and the bezzels are a bit shagged. And the rev-counter got 'unhappy' when Rebecca was off the road waiting for a new engine - it now wanders terribly in it's reading...

I may, when I have real cash money, send them all off to be reconditioned... :-)

That is very pretty Cliff :)

Is that one of the panels which seem to be on Ebay most of the time?

Hi Cliff,

Where did you get the glovebox insert from? My car came with two gauges fixed on the arm under the steering wheel, and they are tricky to read when driving.
It looks a really good fitting.

First things first, but not necessarily in that order.

I made my blank and fitted it BEHIND rather than in front of the glove compartment. I like the chrome surround of the compartment and didn't want to lose that feature. I'll get some piccies if I get time but its dead easy to cut one out of a bit of MDF.
Kirsten (me not the car) is my name and I'm male!!
