Indicator / Flasher little black relay box
My indicators dont work...
After some investigation I think its the relay box
It gives one solitary click when you cancel the indicators, and doesnt do anything else.
Thought I'd replace it, but what with?
It says Durite 12v flasher/hazard on it
But I cant find one!
Is there something else I can use?
Thanks as ever for advice!

Unless you have hazard lights fitted, I think you should be able to replace it with the standard aluminium cylinder type flasher unit as sold by ESM and others: http://morrisminorspares.co.uk/shop/pro ... cts_id=795

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Hi - the box was intermittent and occasionally worked, and still sometimes worked. Fiddling with the steering wheel made no change.
The little black box has 3 wires going to it - all at the top - one each side and one at the front. And they're all green.
Am guessing we have 1 connection from the switch, and one to each indicator circuit - left and right.

Sounds unlikely its a bulb if they both work sometimes but I would still check the bulb holders out and check the earth connections as these can give strange symptons, in the past both times when my indicators stopped and the flasher unit had gone no amount of fiddling got it going again it just died.
Cheers

there are differences depending on which year.Am guessing we have 1 connection from the switch, and one to each indicator circuit - left and right.
for late 61 to early 63, (flashing sidelights and flashing brakelight at the rear) there is a constant feed to the switch and the left and right circuit from the sawitch goes to the additional relay box. the flasher unit feeds to the relay box and the warning light.
For the later Minor 1000, the feed to the indicator switch goes via the flasher unit and the flashing feed goes to the switch. The switch then connects this to left or right hand circuit, or neither.
