Lucas number for a reversing light

Post by paulhumphries »

I've a brand new Lucas L921 rear fog light and I'd like the matching reversing light.
The body is chromed plastic and it was a common fitment to 1970/early 80's cars.
Roughly square shaped lense and Police had them on their bikes with a fog on rear and a reversing on front as "running" lights.

Anyone know what the Lucas number was for such a reversing light so I can start seaching of a new one ?

Thanks.

Paul Humphries.

I think I might have one at home. I'll try to remember to have a look tonight.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

I don't think the one I have is the type you're looking for - it has a chromed metal body and a glass lens with chromed metal straps holding it on.
