I'd like to stick in a couple of new things in my minor, and maybe more later...
like a cigarette lighter (for my magnetic light, not cigarettes!!!) and maybe a radio
Its a negative earth car...
Would I be right in guessing that + meets battery, with an inline fuse, and - screw to the body somewhere?
If that is right, do they need to be separate earths or can the earths go to the same screw?
And also, if I want to add more later, can I just put a nice little block terminal and wire into it later, one set of terminals joined and going commonly to the battery, the other set commonly being earthed together?
Or am I completely wrong and this all sounds dangerous?
Help, as always, really appreciated!
Thanks
Very basic - wiring new connections!

Earth is earth - so any part of the steel body will do - and yes you can put as many earths on the same screw as you like !! I suggest you put an in-line fuse in the wire going to your block terminal - but it would be better to get a nice little fuse block with cover rather than just crude 'choc block'.
