What's that sound from the back

Post by regtubby »

I've not had a chance to investigate very fully but we have an intermittent squeek/whine coming from the back of the car.

It only occur when we're moving but I don't think it's brakes as it doesn't change when braking.

Any ideas?

Very difficult to diagnose noises by description. Here's my try - Dried up suspension bushes - or dampers with no oil inside. Squirt bushes with waxoyl and fill up the dampers !!

Whines are normally bearing related and squeeks are standard on Moggies is that the only one you have.
