Exhaust Systems

Post by johnm »

My wife has just ordered an exhaust for Traveller, the catalogue strangely didn't list 1098, so can anyone confirm that 948 and 1098 exhausts are interchangeable??

interchangeable
If you call jacking the car up at bizarre angles, removing the front wheel, swearing at the diff and hurting yourself... interchangeable!

Buy a two-piece system, makes it much easier!

But is the same system for both engines. Some are better than others - my Bull Motif exhaust has developed in internal rattle after 6 years use. It's SS and has not 'rusted' - although neither is it shining clean. The rattle annoys at idle - when running it is drowned out by the rest of the engine.
