Changing Stud pattern

Post by dnac »

Hi, I have just bought a mog, (well collecting it tommorrow) And I want to do the ford disc conversion, and would like the ford stud patern so that I can get alloys for it (and not mini lites or wolfrace slots!! ). Anyway, i was wondering as it seems hard to get a MK2 escort axle, and to keep it insurance freindly, if it would be possible to get the rear halfshafts and brake drums re drilled to ford stud pattern.

What do you think?

Any competant machine shop can do this, although I'd prefer going the axle route. Price difference between getting existing axle re done and buying a Mk 2 axle shouldn't be a lot.
