Grille Badges

Hey, how do you go about fitting badges to the grille then?? is there a secure, easy way?? - ta.. :wink:

Depends on the badge, most have mountings with them (kind of a T-shape with a screw thread to fit between and behind the bars). If not then you can make them easy enough with a bit of screwed rod and the odd bit of steel. :D

When you buy the badges the question is "is it for bar or grill mounting".
Place a piece of plastic between the rear of the badge and the grill to prevent
it chipping the paint and starting the dreaded rust.

cheers., does anybody use the badge bars or is it mainly grille connections?

On Minors it's mostly grille, but I have seen the odd few Minors with badge bars.

They are quite secure once in place as the radiator needs taking out to gain access to the back of the grill, but its an easy enough job.
