another green wire question

another green wire question

I have found a green wire behind the drivers side glove box with a bullet connector on that goes live with the ignition switched on.

any ideas what this should feed everything appears to be working

If you look at your two fuses on the bulkhead you will see
that one of them has several green wires connected. These
green wires are live only when the ignition is 'on' and are
protected by the fuse. If all appears to be working then
you must assume that it is a feed for an accessory which
has been removed.....time will tell.

thanks will just ignore it for now and use it if i decide to fit a radio

For safety, I'd recommend that you wrap it up in insulating tape!

Maybe I'm cautious, but if there's one wire loose, there's always the possibility of another one around which might just decide to earth the live wire at night, in the rain on an unlit road (Murphey's law) ....
