Re: Sturdy little cars - I'm a rather happy little bunny!

The leaks were seals which have been replaced, and considering the breaks are much firmer than they were at the beginning of the week, I don't think they have pulled a fast one. Not everyone is out to make a fast buck.

Re: (another) Cigarette Lighter

Simple terms with pictures if possible please! The body of the lighter, meaning this bit? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3281/5712238003_459177c8d3.jpg With a wire? And the wire that connects to the fuse box? There are 2 bits coming off the lighter, a red wire & a black one. The red one has a fl...

Sturdy little cars - I'm a rather happy little bunny!

I took Martha in to have the tracking done on Monday (after helping my mum move to the West Midlands from Yorshire *phew*), and whilst she was at the garage, the man looking at it said there was 'a break fluid leak on the rear near side'. I made an appointment to take her back the following day for ...

(another) Cigarette Lighter

I know there is a thread further down about this, but I don't understand it, sorry. My car is negative earth (she had already been done - I got the guy at the garage to check!) so that is sorted. Can someone explain with pretty pictures if possible (and preferable), how I fix in a cigarette lighter?...

Milton Keynes (Willen) 1000? Lorraine??

I wondered if anyone knows Lorraine Moore (Ellis) who lived in Milton Keynes and had what my mum thinks was 'like yours' (a 1000 Saloon!) and 'may have been the same colour' (smoke grey!).

Lorraine lived in Willen near Milton Keynes.

Bizarre, I know!

Ruthless & heartless I will agree with, I'd even go so far as to say a female dog, but I have been with my boyfriend for so long I don't even know how long any more :o

And he won't be coming because I haven't asked him.

Re: MP3 player type thing - from cigarette lighter?

Nothing. I don't want to have to cut bits out of the car for speakers etc. I think I may well just get an ipod dock that runs on batteries. At the moment I am using my laptop with iTunes!

Re: Static seatbelts

Couldn't find anything directly relating to the fitting of the seatbelts & the ease of doing so, unfortunately, but thanks.

I have no idea what i will get when i get static seatbelts, so i have no idea how they are fitted, that was what i wanted to know.

Ok, how does the arm come off? Does it just pull off? I was trying earlier & it didn't want to budge. Mind you, I didn't have my Weetabix this morning...

Re: Static seatbelts

Is it relatively easy to fit seatbelts in the back? I'm looking at getting some static belts as poor Big Neg has to slide about all over the back seat at the moment! Not too much fun, especially when he hadn't closed the door properly one time & it lew open whilst on a dual carriageway! :o

Windscreen wiper...quirk?

The driver side wiper seems to overshoot and push off the edge of the screen. Is it just a quirk? Also, let's be honest, the wipers don't work particularly well. Do I just need new blades do you think or is there something I could adjust? I don't know if this has anything to do with the first issue,...

Re: Growing Convoy for National

Unfortunately won't be doing the test in Martha as she has no headrests :( but then again, it may well be better doing it in a less temperamental car!
