HM Coastguard sure did have them, and would have ahad a blue lamp as well as (often yellow roofs!) So that they could be seen from the air and easily spotted by the helicopter, a practice continued to this day!

This van is on my listing and is currently owne by a LCV member!! So yep it still exits
