Many thanks for all your comments, So is the general consensus that the voltage reg is where I should connect the heater live green wire to or would it be better that I extend the live green heater wire and feed it directly to the fuse box and earth the black wire to the car bodywork?
Many thanks

Screws that hold parcel shelf on the A pillar
Hi all, does anybody know please the thread size/ type of the bolt that goes into hole near the A pillar to hold the parcel shelf in place. The internal thread near the A pillar on both sides needs a good clean out with a tap and I want to make sure its the right one. Is it the same size thread as t...

Van glove box lids
Can anyone tell me please if van and pickups have different glove box lids to that of a traveller , saloon or convertible? Re: What would go here?
I have just looked at your picture again and see you have a pull start solenoid so am guessing you have an earlier vehicle, would the later vans have differed in terms of the vin plate location? Where also would the black badge go that relates to the seatbelt compliance?
Thanks again
Richard

Re: Your thoughts please
Many thanks to you ALL for your input, am very grateful for all of your comments. Ok so it sounds like the easiest option is going to be to redrill the three holes with a 6.60 drill bit, and re-tap holes with a 5/16 unc tap ( 1st and finishing tap) and job done. Have looked on ebay and i can get all...
