Taking a break from the welding. Dishwasher cleaned the carb parts nicely then some elbow grease and polish on some visible and important parts.[frame][/frame]

What does the underside of the rear chassis leg look like forward of the bumpstop???
There seems to me no lower cover on mine, has it rusted away or is this right? Seems to direct road-dirt into the box section of the rear spring mount if so.

Yes, I've sort of set the new panel in place already to see where the problem areas are going to be, seems the whole join along the top will be a problem. Has anyone dealt with this before? The portion where the wing bolts to is missing is places and I think I'll have to manufacture and install a re...

Thanks, got the old metal removed and ground the spot welds down so I have nice clean flanges to attach the new panel to:[frame][/frame]
