beware replica smiths oil pressure gauge
Bought replica Smiths guages from fleabay look really nice BUT the fitting on the oil guage is not like smiths so the pipe doesn't fit. It has an npt thread for a convex fitting not bspt and flat fitting as per smiths. Needs a converting adaptor  As they say you get what you pay for  Genu...

Re: C/H plug insert size?
Same as mine Phil except my capillary had a male thread that went straight into the head without an adaptor. Re: Cylinder head problems? Never fear.
Very good. If the same processes were undertaken in the UK the health and safety guys would have a field day  They were in 60s and early 70s no body bothered too much, hence knackered hip, knees and back. Lifted many of those truck cylinder heads without help  Used to stand along side t...

Only the clutch pedal has a draft seal other than that the felt/carpet is the draft excluder for the brake pedal. https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/pad-pedal-sealing-aaa1938.html?assoc=136260 The above seal could be adapted and fitted to the brake pedal or the underside of the gearbox cover where the b...

Re: Difficult bolt removal.
Could you weld a nut over the bolt then use the nut to bring the bolt out, the heat from the weld should not effect the panel but if worried put wet cloths around it before welding.
