are the plain rubber ones from suppliers better than the kevlar reinforced?

Does anyone know where I can get a silicone bottom hose (without heater take off) for my Series II?

The kevlar re-inforced piece I fitted only a year ago is cracked, and looks ready to split at any moment.

The only part I cannot find is COM107 the locating washer that secures everything on the outside of the chassis leg. None of the parts suppliers seem to list it. It's number 7 ...

Yes, those Duraboot ones are the generic version I saw, I wasn't sure if they would need trimming down to fit the Minor, but the ebay item looks good. I'll order those.

I've still not replaced my perished gaiters, and really don't want to tackle the job until I can find some reasonable quality parts.

That looks like the HIF38 Carb I am using. It's probably from a Metro. The rubber hose you have connected is an "Economy device" that makes the mixture more lean at mid throttle. It was more trouble that it was worth in my case though, so I removed the pipe and blocked off the connections ...

The problem is I think that all the suppliers are selling the same product. I'd like to be proved wrong though, if anyone can recommend a good supplier for high quality gaiters?
