Clutch pedal
Hi everyone
I am about to change the clutch pedal on my 2 door right hand drive, with the tunnel removed, does the gearbox get in the way of removing it? I really don’t want to have to remove the gearbox for this job if not needed
Thanks
Andy

1098 gearbox straight cut
Hi everyone Just out of interest can a 1098 standard minor gearbox be converted to straight cut gears? Like a 1275 midget can be. I’ve read somewhere about it can be done if it has b type gears, how do I identify this? And is it a straight forward swap over job that doesn’t require gearbox machining...

Hi everyone I have bought myself a hydraulic clutch operating kit that bolts to the side of my 1098 gearbox also a roller bearing clutch release bearing to get rid of the carbon one. Brake reservoir kit
Hi everyone
I have installed a brake reservoir kit with front discs last January, I have noticed the clear rubber pipe supplied upto the reservoir is sweating brake fluid through it, is this normal? Or is there a alternative to stop this
Thanks
Andy

1275 engine value
Hi everyone
I have a marina 1275 a plus engine, all complete with flywheel, back plates manifold. It is in stripped down Staite all labels up ready for reconditioning, what would the value of this engine be if I was to sell it?
Also what do people value 1275 Mg midget gearbox at?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Rear suspension knocking
I shall check them again, but seemed good last time I checked, replaced the rubbers at the same time. What are people’s opinions on the New leaf springs? There not old at all, they don’t have rubber in the clamps around the leafs, so was wondering if that possible noise

Re: 1275 mg gearbox fitment
I have checked the input shaft it does have those numbers and letters stamped and also reverse light switch, it is definitely a 1275, trying to find out if it’s a straight swap over job with everything else that is 1098

1275 mg gearbox fitment
Hi there
I have a 1275 mg gearbox, looks the same as a 1098, will the 1275 box bolt straight to the 1098 engine using 1098 clutch, flywheel release bearing fork and engine back plate and gear-lever? I’ll be fitting a 3.9 diff aswell

Late wings, early light problem
Hi everyone I’m doing a full restoration on my 1957 2 door having spent so much time fitting new heritage wings I have discovered the holes in all 4 wings are to big and wrong for the small front side lights and small rear (red lense) lights. They must be late wings for bigger lights, what’s the eas...

Re: Hif38 carb problem
I haven’t put coolant pipes to the inlet, just trying to get it so when on choke I can pull away with confidence without it bogging down, every other minor I have driven although standard I’ve been able to drive off no problem on choke push it in as it warms up job done
