That was my first thought when I first saw them, they look a very neat even job if they have, it would need a very good hand to cut then so even.
They were on the pick-up when it was rescued.

On the Austin badged pick-up or vans has anyone come across the rear rubber buffer blocks with the letter A on them shown in the picture. The rubber buffers fitted to this early 71 pick-up were on it when it was rescued for preservation from it's last working owners which leads me to think they are ...

Just been browsing the auctions and noticed the Millionth Minor chassis number MA2S3 1000000 is coming up in the March 7th auction with an estimate of £22,000 - £26,000 on it. I do wonder if they were a bit sloppy on the assembly line sometimes and left the odd set of lifting eyes on at the factory, I've had pick ups and vans in the past that had them fitted.

This Austin badged 8 cwt pick-up on a "G" plate still retains it's original green engine with a red chassis plate on the door panel marked British Motor Corporation Ltd together with Arizona Beige door panels and seats.

Do you want a scan of the rear body tub. I find the parts books are often a greater help than the workshop manuals, particularly the Haynes workshop manual on the Morris is very poor.
