to get my traveller running ! i previousley had the wont run thread , got a good spark fuel is there timing adjusted good compression and everything else i can think of ! if your in leicester and fancy a beer let me know. i have started that many times the solenoid is a about knackered and the start...

i have tried that a few times ,even warmed plugs up ! and set a light to the unspent fuel in the cylinders !!!

real shame as theres looks to be not alot needed for an m.o.t

i challenge any local minor fans to get my traveller running for a frre beer ! i have tried everything!! i have a good spark ,fresh fuel and fuel entering cylinders ,good compression ,all gaps adjusted . strong battery and booster pack. it did try and start a few times but now theres nothing ......b...

It's a case of isolating the problem. I would first take the cap off the Dizzy, turn the ignition on (make sure car is in neutral) and press the button that turns the engine over. Hi i forgot to mention its had new leads !
as for the carb i can only go on what i have been told ,its deffinatly not run since the so called service the oil is still fresh and clear.
i think im gonna change the points and condenser ,i have heard a few stories of brand new condensers not working !!!!
