:D :D dohh!!, looks great really. What do you expect to see performance wise. Had you thought of supercharging ?, I have seen the results from the Rotrex units down at Omex and they are awsome. With a bit more spent on some internals ,other than forged pistons and uprated rods they reckon 650bhp is...

TheYorkshireMan wrote:Quite nice for top speed, but i would use small twin turbo's for the acceleration. Also if you dont mind me asking, what engine is that?.
small turbos run out of steam to soon and so are no good for strip use,and you wouldent fit 2 on a four pot

MarkyB wrote:Doesn't bigger turbo = more lag?
I thought that was why people are going over to dual turbo set ups.,
dual turbo set ups are for straight six or v8 motors not 4 cylinders the use of nitrous oxide keeps the turbo spooled up so lag is not to bad of a problem.

going round corners?

its 4x4 it goes round corners just fine, although we mainly favour drag racing as its a test of the cars pure power, but my misses drove it round a circuit for the first time three laps and came .6 sec behind the quickest skyline so suppose it does corners .<br> http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1238...

hi i will tell you a few golden rules about fast minors

first thing, start with a motor thats fast in the firstplace,ie sbc/bbc/cossie,they are known reliable and simple, dont make the mistake of over complicating the engineering side of things,if theres an adequate simple way saving wheight that fine, why build a bridge then build onother under it to suppo...
