Carbs which to use on Zetec 1.6??

Wondering if any one out there knows the most economical way to fuel a 1.6 zetec engine?

Bike Carbs
SU carb/s

obviously i will have to make a manifold for any option! any Ideas?

i was hoping to use the moggy back axle as i have purchased a 3.7 diff and uprated half shafts for the car.

Could i fit riley 1500 drums easy enough?

thanks for the advice. i am fitting a 1.6 zetec with bike carbs through a type 9 gear box. Probably don't need the extra braking but just thought it would be different.

so bigger drum brakes is probs the best way to go?

I have just brought a pair of uprated half shafts cost me £80. This must be a cheaper alternative than changing the axle!

i am fitting a 1.6 zetec engine into my car running bike carbs. I have also fitted disc brakes to front, gas dampers all round with anti roll bar. Also have fibreglass rear wings and boot lid.

Im 20 and was quoted £2000 with 2 years no claims!!!

Disc Brakes on rear?? any ideas

Hi
just wondering if anyone has fitted disc brakes to the rear of a standard back axle?

I have disc brakes fitted to front of mine but would like to improve the braking further by adding them on the rear also.

Is this possible?
