Re: So what do YOU want from the MMOC website?

The current site is adequate but one major change that needs to be made is.... Free speech without constantly being lectured on the T&Cs which appear to be more beneficial to traders than the members. Oh and one other thing please stop using the phrase" we could be sued by traders" do ...

Re: locked

the club forum should all be fun.... Can somebody please look up the meaning of "fun" in the dictionary, I bet it doesn't say MMOC. Yes Paul this thread is serious because IMHO the committee tends to favour not upsetting various traders rather than support its very important members, no m...

Re: locked

I agree 100% with Irmscher, I have previously highlighted poor quality services on this site only to have them removed. Your reference to the MMOC being draconian is spot on, imho the club has and continues to fail to keep up with the changes which are happening within the circles of our cars and me...

Hi Mike I could post it again but want to know why it was taken down in the first place. I have not received any PM and if it was a glitch then the moderators would have said that today in response to my query, so their actions or should I say lack of actions havn't made them look very good has it? ...

Thank you and I appreciate your comment and Im sure you will understand my position, as I dont believe in coincidence you will see that your comments and the timely removal of my post add up. I find it hard to understand as it was only my honest opinion and was not offensive. The moderator responsib...

Re: Amp + Speakers = Insurance Mod?

Why was my post removed from here, as soon as Dave from FJ doesnt like what I say and pops up here to try and fight his corner my post goes missing, so not only are insurance companies holding us to ransom now they have a say and control about what we can and cant say on our forum. You can see that ...

Re: Amp + Speakers = Insurance Mod?

Hi Egsj It depends on how much value you put on the equipement you have installed and are you prepared to possibly loose it, but I dont think they will charge that much to include it on your policy. I added a Pioneer stereo with 10 CD changer and the cost was so small I cant even remember what it wa...

Re: Insurance

Hi FSK658

I use Peter Best in Essex 01621840010, I have lots of modifications on my traveller all done by myself and I have been insured with them since 2005. Just make sure you list them all to have everything included on your policy.

Louise,

As you are aware, our pride and joys get stolen regularly so the majority of people probably dont post their location for this reason.

Harry I have sent a reply to your PM regarding this. Before using the fiat speedo I had the original moggy speedo recalibrated by a reputable company, what a waste of money because it was so inaccurate. go to www.ebay.com and type this in the search...FIAT 131 BRAVA FACTORY NEW SPEEDOMETER, (the one...

Re: Spigot bearing

Hi Cowboyo, Yeah £41 sounds a bit steep alright, Problem is that when you go to these suppliers for original parts they know that they have you by the short and curleys. As i said earlier you can get all the parts from America and probably cheaper if your not in a hurry. If you had a list of parts t...

Re: Spigot bearing

Hi Cowboyo, I am pleased the bread worked for you, I cant remember where I learned that trick but it begs the question of, who was the first person to look at the problem of removing a spigot bearing and had the idea "i'l just stuff it with bread". Pleased you got the replacement bearing a...

Re: Informing DVLA

Hi granneb,

As Pete says it is straight forward. I put a 2ltr engine in mine a few years ago and they were only interested in the new CC and an engine number and I had a new V5 in two weeks. I too kept a copy and sent the V5 recorded delivery aswell.
