I'm driving to Africa in the Morris, perhaps a silly idea but an idea nontheless!
I've got a 71 2 door standard 1098. I wanna get a 5th gear in there and don't what to do.. Any thoughts?
Also, roof racks for the Morris??? Is there such a thing?

More info
When i press the brake for 'emergency stop' the wheels do not lock, the pedal jams and doesn't go down but if i keep my foot on the pedal and continue to push hard it very slowly unjams and the wheels start to lock gradually.

Up with the floor
Hey folks, Many thanks for all your thoughts... I got the carpet up and found that fluid is leaking out of the breather hole of the m/c cap everytime I push down on the pedal. Hey all,
I've got a problem with my brakes... 1971 2 door morris
A couple of times I've had to emergency stop and each time the brake pedal doesn't budge. They work fine when using casually but if i try and slam them on as if emergency stopping the pedal doesn't budge.
Any thoughts?

Hey Folks...
I've got a standard 2 door morris - 1971 - 1098cc
I wanna drive to Greece in it this summer but don't like the idea of doing it with my trusty 4 speeds.
I'm also pretty keen to change the axles for stronger ones
What's the best thing to do? Any ideas?
Cheers en
